After graduating from High School this May I am going to spend a year in Jordan loving and serving Syrian Refugees and studying Arabic before returning home to attend college.

While in Jordan, my responsibilities will include working at the church guest house where I am staying, helping the housing coordinators and serving the short-term teams that visit. I will participate in relief efforts among Syrian refugees, and serve at a school for Syrian refugee children, helping with Restoring Hope, Urban Catalyst’s child development project with Syrian refugee children. I will also take an intensive Arabic class.

To cover my travel and living expenses for the year in Jordan, I need to raise $12,000.  I need at least $2,000 upfront, but the rest can be monthly ($800 per month) to cover living expenses. I have been working as well as making and selling homemade salsa as a fundraiser to help cover these expenses but still need help to make this internship happen. Would you prayerfully consider helping me with a one-time or monthly gift? Any amount helps and all donations are tax-deductible and will help me make a difference in the lives of Syrian Refugees.
