At Urban Catalyst our goal is to confront fear and violence with hope and love!

We desire to catalyze a global movement of peace and reconciliation among all peoples, promoting peace and understanding between cultures.

Urban Catalyst is a non-profit organization based in Houston, Texas that is dedicated to promoting peace and reconciliation among refugees and internationals in our city and around the world.  Our goal is to facilitate cultural understanding, encourage meaningful dialogue and relationships, and to help the poor, vulnerable and marginalized in our society.

We want to be influencers who help both the victims and perpetrators of injustice and violence overcome fear with love. We are accomplishing this goal through education and service - promoting hospitality, cultural understanding and integration among all peoples.  As catalyzers, our goal is not to recreate the wheel, we desire to partner with like-minded organizations, to train people to make a difference and to provide opportunities for action.
